Well done all ClanDes Obeaux backers today. Couldn’t have had him but is obviously improving at a huge rate of knots and it would be a major error to believe that was a fluke today.
I took some 16s for the Gold Cup which has gone, but 12s still available at the time of writing with Betvictor. Crazy price given that the race is blown open, Might Bite bubble is burst, Native River will struggle to turn that form around no matter the stamina test, as will Thistlecrack.
Clan Des Obeaux should be second favourite. He’s only 6 and if he improves from this as much as he’s improved from Haydock, the Gold Cup will be his barring accidents.
