Powys trainer Brian Eckley only has five horses but I think he might have got himself a potentially smart one in Liberty Bella who runs in the 3.30 at Hereford.
Liberty Bella showed some promise on her debut then really came alive next time when making all to win a Class 4 at Ludlow. She travelled well throughout showing a healthy appetite for the game and I think she will go well again here despite her 6lb penalty.
Liberty Bella’s dam was tailed off on her only racecourse run, but her grand-dam is a half sister to the very useful Scots Grey as well as Scots Dragoon and Coral Island. Hopefully the talent skipped just one generation.
Henderson has a hotpot in the race but his mare is hard to figure out having unluckily failed to finish in her last two outings. Backing Liberty Bella each way should offer a fair chance of a small profit.
Good luck
Joe
