My final tip for Saturday runs in the 3.35 at. Warwick – Notwhatiam.
This horse moved to the Skelton yard in October last year from a small trainer, and Dan Skelton appears to have transformed it. The gelding has won twice over 3 miles and ran a fine race behind the classy Midnight Shadow last time over 20f.
Over 3m1f today, he should have every chance of winning again. I’ve backed him each way at 6/1 and have also put him in an EW treble with Step Back and Lord Napier. An EW treble is a rare bet for me but I think these three horses will go very close and the place terms – with Hills in particular paying first 6 in Lord Napier’s race (check that this is still on offer) – it makes sense, to me at least; if all are placed you’re assured a nice profit.
