A Fiver EW Life-Changing Treble

Around this time of year I put up an antepost treble that might win a few quid. I’ve yet to land all three, but hope springs eternal.

I tipped Petit Mouchoir for the Champion Hurdle in my previous post, and he is the first one in the treble.

Next is Bristol De Mai in the Gold Cup. The best news of the season for me was that he would not run again between now and the big one in March. I think the key to this horse could well be a long rest between races. The good ground argument against him was put to bed in the Betfair (it had been to my eye anyway in previous races, especially at Cheltenham).  Some believe he doesn’t act at Cheltenham. He acts perfectly well; he just hasn’t gone there in the past off a very long rest. He’s worth backing single too in the standard antepost market at 40/1 as I can’t see him going anywhere else, although there is, as always, the threat of injury.

For the purpose of the treble we have the insurance of NRNB with Bet365 albeit at 20/1

The final selection is Terrefort for the Ryanair. He ran a fine trial last time when finding the extended 3m1f just too much and I’m confident he’ll go close if he turns up here.

Petit Mouchoir runs tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. So don’t delay in placing your bet.

Petit Mouchoir Champion Hurdle 33/1

Bristol De Mai Gold Cup 20/1

Terrefort Ryanair 16/1

EW treble. Bet365.

Good luck

Joe
