I’ll end up backing three or four in the National (6th April), but Singlefarmpayment is well worth betting at 50/1 with Skybet who’ll return your cash if he doesn’t run. He’s engaged at Cheltenham and will probably run well as he usually does there. He might even win.
He’s a horse I’ve watched since his novice days and backed a few times although he’s been on the wrong side of too many close finishes to bet win only. But he’s a talented horse who, after losing his way a bit last season, has run solid races in both outings. It might be they are reducing his number of outings and that could help.
He has more than enough going for him to get involved in the National, although being a hold up horse, he’ll need a bit more luck than normal. 50/1 is twice what he should be in my book.
