Just one bet tomorrow in the last at Newbury when I’m hoping Tidal Flow can follow up his smooth win last time at Uttoxeter where he put up one of the best rounds of jumping I’ve seen from a novice. This is two furlongs farther but that should hold no fears.

He also looked to be enjoying himself immensely last time. He came in both short and long at a couple of fences and made the adjustments himself to meet them spot on. He could well be going places.

Tidal Flow was 2nd at 5/2. I think we simply ‘ran into one’ in the winner Burbank who looked beaten as early as the turn in only to pick up remarkably easily halfway down the straight.
