David Pipe’s Main Fact started this season on an official rating of 98. After racking up three in a row he runs tomorrow at Newbury (2.40) off 123.  Few (other than Mister Pipe) would argue with that 25lbs rise. He’s been increasingly impressive with each victory.

His three wins were in Class 4 races. This is Class 3 and he is up 12lbs from his last run. But Fergus Gillard takes off 7lbs with his claim. He gets on well with the horse, having ridden him to his most impressive victory. The long Newbury straight should suit Main Fact well.
