Just one bet today, Lostintranslation in the Gold Cup, 3.30. Given his poor run in the King George where he was pulled up before the straight, and the supposed awful stable form this week he has drifted to a mad price of around 12/1 (Sportingbet).
Lostintranslation was almost certainly still feeling the effects of his Betfair Chase win when running at Kempton, never showing his normal zest. Power wisely pulled him up and later said he thought the horse’s breathing had gone. He has had a wind op and wears a tongue tie today.
As to Tizzard’s form this week, the majority of his runners have been big prices, signifying they had little chance anyway as far as the market was concerned. Here’s his results this week.
The rest of the card looks very difficult for punters although I think Thyme Hill could win. But my sole advice is to cast aside the doubters and back Lostintranslation.
Good luck. Most tipsters are unreliable and inconsistent, including me. Don’t bet more than you can afford to lose with a smile – whatever the source of the tip.
All the best
Joe
