This gives a permed foursome of 54 bets. I’ve done these for a 25p stake. I’ve also added to the above Raabihah for the Arc De Triomphe at 20/1 for 54 fivesomes to a 10p stake. Total stakes £18.90
Perhaps the biggest chance taken here is for Defi Du Seuil to stay over 2 miles and go once again for the Queen Mother Champion Chase. Trainer Hobbs has been making some undefined and undecided noises that he might consider going up in trip. But with the comparative weakness of the division, I’ve taken the view that the best opportunities will be over 2 miles. If I’m wrong we still have the fav running for us, although he has had his training problems in the past. That unsettles me a bit, despite him staying solidly sound through last season. Still, there is nothing else in the race for now that I fancy.
As ever the usual warning about antepost, supposing Defi Du Seuil and Chacun Pour Soi drop out (or our selections in one of the other races) the whole bet is down.
