I just got around to doing the figures for the blog’s Cheltenham tips. Using £1 unit stakes, we had a loss of £2.51. Had Blue Lord stood up at the last it would have been a small profit. Still, I won’t complain, having tipped Quilixios, Flooring Porter, Tiger Roll, Galvin and the hotpots Shishkin and Monkfish.
Galvin maintained the blog’s run of landing the NAP of the meeting, following Champ in 2020, and Defi Du Seuil in 2019. We’ll aim for the four-timer next March.
In the meantime, I’ll see what Aintree looks like. I’ll definitely be blogging on the Grand National, but will wait and see on the other races. I never bet with confidence at Aintree given the number of runners turning up there after the festival with hard luck stories or just because they are still fit and the season’s end is near. One or two will have been intentionally kept for it and I’ll take a close look at those, particularly my Champion Hurdle outsider, the late withdrawal, Song For Someone.
All the best.

Good work Joe! Always good to read others views, sometimes to back your own up, sometimes to turn your head, and sometimes to smile! Keep up the great writing 👍
