There were winning tips/naps yesterday, but the successful posters might have missed my note last week asking that – if they have tipped a winner they reply to their own original post, so I can include it in the daily article. It cuts my work vastly. Thanks.
If yesterday’s winners respond to this with their results I will update the post.
The blog’s nap is Princess Mathilde in the 7.25 at Killarney.
Good luck
Joe
The nap is THE BLUE BRILLIANT. Killarney 7.25, at 9/2. Bet with two at Beverley – ROSE BANDIT, 1.45, also at 9/2; with GOLDEN FLAME, 3.15, at 5/4.

I do not wish to remain anonymous, even though I have gone against Joe’s nap!

Yes. There is no room for modesty as Joe wants our winning tips highlighted.

2nd run for TC – good jockey booking. Step back up to up to a mile should help.
One for a pretty uninspiring day!

There are a couple of horses at Beverley that I like, but I always seem to find the Beverley course an unlucky hunting ground which is strange because, I was born overlooking the track (you could literally see it from the window). So going to go for glamorous breeze 13:00 Bath as my nap.

I don’t know if this counts as off-topic and better suited to The Lounge but I do find picking winners easier at some courses than others (is it a confidence thing?). Beverley/Catterick/Chester/Goodwood/Newbury (jumps)/Ayr in the positive camp. Haydock/Lingfield/Chepstow (flat) and in particular Bath are in the negative camp.

May well be a lounge topic, but Beverley, chester and Doncaster (50/50) are ones that stick in my mind (and fiber sand courses) that are negative. I also have a thing for only betting on horses that I like at Brighton if they are drawn in the first 3 stalls. But I think that (in my mind) there is a definite advantage there.

I completely agree. I tend to stay away from the likes of Yarmouth and Brighton. I usually only bet on bigger prices at Kempton (evening flat). Not sure if it’s true but I find that a lot of favs and fancied horses get overturned. This used to be true at Towcester too

This was meant as a reply to mickle. Lingfield is another where I tend to stay away from betting wise. Although I did attend a summer evening there a couple years ago and it was a nice course and evening.

THE CRUISING LORD Bath 15:05. It seems that even thinking about napping him has had the power of reducing his odds from 4s into 5/2.

This one trick pony suggests perm any 2 from 3 in Harvard in the 16.25, Handel in the 16.55 and Lord of the Manor in the 18.55 at Killarney.
