No winners reported yesterday in the comments section, though it was a quiet day here. If I’ve missed anyone, please let me know.
One winner was picked; the blog’s nap, One For Joe went in at 2/1. Nice to be back on the Hitlist. Today’s nap is Zagato, 6.45 Newmarket at 11/10.
I now have David’s suggestion up and running – July Winners is the thread name. David’s idea was to use this instead of replying to your own post. I think it’s a much better solution. Just go to that thread and post your winner and its price – early prices are fine. As David said, it will make for a useful and perhaps fascinating reference point as time passes, with each month having its own thread. We need not back date it and can begin fresh from today, the 16th.
I look forward to seeing your nap below and any other horse related talk.
Good luck
Joe
In an attempt to get my name in the July Winners thread I’ll go for the appropriately named Eternal Glory – 9:00 Hamilton 11/10

The nap today is the likeable BOSH in the 3.20 at Newbury, 7/2 last night. This is coupled with TITLE 6/5, Hamilton 8,00.
I advise having a look at CAPTAIN TOM CAT for Saturday at Market Rasen, 9/2.

I was going to nap bosh in the 3:25 at Newbury but as dnb has beaten me to it, I’ll nap golden bugle 14:45 (Newbury) instead.

Nap: Haydock 5.15 Irv – I’ll take the 15/8 at best odds guaranteed on PP please. ps Bond Chairman at about 4/1 in the 3.20 at Newbury looks over priced, If it was a Gosden/Stoute horse with that form, a staying on nicely for 4th in the Windsor Castle, it would be 2/1 or shorter?

Clarendon House 7.50 at Newmarket. Will love the ground and trip. I own a small share so my head and heart are aligned! 🤞

Oneforthegutter e/w in the 3.20 at Haydock. This looks a stiffer test than he faced when winning at 25/1 win on his debut but I have a feeling there’s more to come!

Well done on yesterday, Joe.

It is utterly shite isn’t it. If I was the CoC I’d put a great big bloody sign up of those numbers alongside each gallops with some “formative feedback” for the training fraternity!!

Just back from a lovely overnight in Ayr – its tropical weather up here last few days. Tuned in to cheer Kings Prince home and it found nothing in race like lots of recent MJ horses. There is at least one winner today so the July winners Thread should start to fill….
Tomorrow, another day, different dart.
