A hot Hitlist yesterday with Dreamloper a 13/2 winner for Jonathan Dawe, and Speedo Boy winning for Robicheaux at 8/1 – brilliant work, you two. More please!
The blog’s nap got stuffed but its sole other selection First Dance won at 10/1.
The blog’s nap today is Guru in the 2.25.
Please leave your nap/tips in the comments section and, if you get a winner, please put that in the July Winners thread.
Good luck
Joe

Morning all,
Unusually for me, I am proposing a nap: 240 Y Streamline 9/1 whose win on 13/3 is class. Back with some longshots later

Well done with Lyndon B the other day – 16-1. I put it up as a winner the next day in July Winners as it was missing. Least I could do as I backed it myself. Good luck today.

S530 Pride of Hawridge, down in grade, has been well backed since I thought the Millmans’ might try 😦
Y535 Adaay Dream is a huge drifter but I fantasise a win

As I enter the final year of my 30s 😢, hoping for a bit of birthday luck! Will have to see what the weather does first before making some selections, but in the mean time, I’ll nap mohaafeth 15:15 (York).

Also, given his record at York Gulliver in the 14:40 8-1 ew (sky paying 6).

Good finish to the 3.15 at York.
Armory sweated up and needs 10F. Bangkok reversed 8L Chester form.
It was criminal allowing Bangkok to start at 14/1and I hope you are all ashamed of yourselves.
Good week for Australia whose Stallion fee actually decreased this year despite showing he sires decent Milers.
Now for Broome to be placed in the KG.

Mohaafeth is the obvious one BUT not being one for favs in small fields it’s GULLIVER in the 2nd at York with old Venturous to run into a place.

I would hold fire on anyone wanting to back Ballydoyle in the KG. The rain is forecast and an even number of 2 is anathema to APOB. I expect one to be withdrawn.

I must be mad having my NAP in a 22 runner hot handicap but….Matthew Flinders 6/1 or so in the 3.00 Ascot. Oisin and Ed Walker a good combination …
Good luck with all your bets!
Used to attend the King George meeting regularly when I lived in London, great memories of great days out.

I’m told that last time that Timeform’s top rated in the King George was such a big price was in 2012 when Danedream won at 9/1. Mishriff is around 8/1. Worth bearing in mind that this is not a sub standard renewal where he has kind of defaulted to top rated; it’s a cracking contest and that price is surely much too big to ignore?

Lone Eagle for me in 3.35 KG. I have my doubts about top two and am happy to take 5-1.
Doubled it with Matthew Flinders. Good Luck all.

Naps are anapthema for me, as I prefer ew long odds bets and bet in small stakes. Today’s long odds ew bet is in the 3.00 at Ascot, ROPEY GUEST which I hope to get a place and found 25s on Betfair (six places). Betfair seems to be upping its game to match Skybet’s extra places and the price was better. Certainly worth a look. Good luck everyone.

David Elsworth’s STARSHIBA in the 3.00 ascot is nagging me. Rated 87, 8st 2lbs with Jonny Peate taking off 7 lbs more. 20/1, no record to speak of, so why is he running here? Mr Elsworth know his stuff… could well finish last but an e/w flutter perhaps…

For the KG Mishriff served me well during his Arab Spring, and I hate to desert him, but I think Love ridden by a resurgent RM will be my choice.

The nap was a tight call between MOTAKHAYYEL Ascot 3.00 and WAHRAAN Newmarket 3.40. For the purposes of the blog the nap is the former, but both have been backed win and double.
