I don’t know the reasons for moving one of the only 5 Racehorses from the Stable of WJ Austin to L. Flynn this summer at the age of 12.
It must hurt that All The Chimneys has form of 2 1 since then and PU PU before that move. He is the top weight.
WJ Austin fields last year’s winner the Mare Crack On Corrie who is running at a pound below him and has the advantage of being more open to improvement being a younger Horse aged 11.
I think she will be raced to win and has no other target.
I will back both win only just to be safe but Crack On Corrie in the 14.00 at Clonmel is my win only nap.
Corrie is a year older – aren’t we all? – and thirteen pounds higher in the handicap. Think he has improved by nearly a stone? I still think Chim-Chimminey is the better bet. When maestro Cumani had all those horses taken away from his stable, or Professor Oxx, it was a shattering blow. So you can imagine when it happens to a small operator like Willie Austin it must seem like a sink hole just swallowed your Ferrari.p
Would do Vee Dancer, 100 Clonmel but it’s a Ronan McNally beastie so if it’s going to win the price could be miniscule at the off. 5/2 now. Nap therefore is Shopping Around 300 Clonmel.
On To Victory 2.45 Wincanton
After he trounced the field in last year’s November handicap, I was convinced he was up to winning a decent pot over hurdles: something like the Betfair or even the Coral Cup.
Saying that, he’s too careful with his hurdling, probably needs 2m4f & his chance is greatly diminished by having De Boinville on board.
I’m hoping the Aintree maiden is to prove a decent race as a couple of winners, a 2nd from Gelino Bello and Venetia saying on tv she sees a good future for Ree Okker that
Nap M Rasen 1322 Lounge Lizard
proves the point
Another rushed day, but one that caught my eye on a brief scan will do for a nap: Caro des Flos, 13:52 Market Rasen. Looks a weak race in which experience might tell.
Wincanton 1.15. Ew nap Love Actually. 20/1 in places.
Won the 2nd of her two points. First one where she finished 4th. May have been a hot one.

Market seems to have declared for Sunnyvilla (crashed to around evens now) ahead of my nap in that 3.00 race. Looks like it’s between the two though.

I backed it EW but napped it win only, so a partial success, I suppose.
