4.55 Wetherby Thursday – Event of Sivola EW to 5 places at 18/1 with Paddy Power
This is competitive, but there looks to be some EW value to 5 places about Event Of Sivola who has been running reasonably well this season, showing a wee bit of improvement in each of his last three runs without setting any heather ablaze. But the application of first time blinkers here catches the eye.
The last time Event Of Sivola won a race was when a visor was fitted for the first time. That was at Hexham in November over 4m and he made all. It’s a different test here on quicker ground and a markedly shorter trip, but you have to trust that connections believe he has a fair shot. At 18/1 to 5 places, I am happy to take a chance.
