I applauded my own achievement with my last post, the first time I’ve tipped 3 horses in a major race only to have all three withdrawn. Anyway, onward and upward. The 2.05 at Perth has at least 7 in with a chance. I didn’t post last night as I was waiting to see if the rain came for Fairlawn Flyer, who is at his best on soft ground. Well, it’s now soft, good to soft in places there and I’m happy that he’s the best value in the race at 12/1 EW to 5 places with Skybet.
He has won all four of his last completed outings, being pulled up twice on good to soft. The wins were on soft or heavy.
