Loyal readers of the Eddie Malloy series will know about my troubles with what should be book 10 – Bet Your Life. Despite several rewrites over the past couple of years, I haven’t been satisfied that the result at any point was worth publishing.
The rewrite was necessary to allow the series to continue beyond book 10. The original plot of Bet Your Life would have made that difficult (we thought it would be our last book in the series at the time it was first written).
Anyway, I took a long break from writing and am back at work on BYL. I’m not hopeful at the moment (December 2019) but I will persevere and update this blog when things take more shape.
